On Wednesday, February 23, Rep. Jon Dunwell (R-Newton) of House District 29 successfully floor managed his first and second pieces of legislation through the Iowa House.

House File 2341 allows insurance companies to transfer ownership of an out-of-state vehicle.  House File 2359 allows county treasurers to reschedule or cancel the annual tax sale.

"Today, I was able to run my first bills on the House Floor," said Dunwell. "Both bills take simple steps to increase Iowans' flexibility and apply some common sense to government. I am honored to serve my constituents in the Iowa House and I was pleased to run my first bills successfully through the Iowa House."

HF 2341 passed the House with a unanimous vote of 96-0 and HF 2359 passed with a nearly unanimous vote of 96-1.
